Fiona Van Brabandt is half French half Irish, grew up in the South of France and spent her summers in Ireland. After some time spent in Paris and Dublin, she now lives in Geneva, Switzerland. With both her parents being artists, Fiona was gifted with an innate passion for art; drawing, painting, crafting and creating since her childhood. She draws her artistic concepts from fashion, flea-markets findings, vintage objects, nature, music, travels, daily encounters, and her children. Fiona’s works are created using a variety of media, from acrylic to oil paints, in addition to collages crafted from old Irish newspapers from the 1980s. Her recent work is created mostly in acrylic.
